The 2nd International Conference on Geosynthetics and Environmental Engineering was
successfully held in Busan, South Korea on April 19-20. Scholars from all over the world gathered
together to conduct research and discussion in a strong academic atmosphere. The conference covered
many fields such as the application and sustainability of geosynthetics, civil and structural
engineering, and environmental engineering and science. The conference was supported by many
well-known domestic and foreign universities and research institutions such as Inha University,
Geosynthetics Institute of America, University of Texas at Austin, Sun Yat-sen University,
Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of Raman, Fuzhou University, and Zhejiang
University.
